FLOAT CAUGHT 49LB MIRROR BREAKS LAKE RECORD

Kevin Jones of Ipswich has become the latest angler to break the carp record at Sweet Chestnut lake

On Sunday 14th September 2008 Kevin managed to bank a stunning huge - shouldered mirror of 49lb.

The fish was skilfully tamed on a light Avon rod using float tactics, to make an incredible capture.
